Newborn
Care (Overnight)

Newborn Care Specialists are highly-experienced individuals with extensive training in newborn care. While new parents catch up on much-needed sleep, an NCS is able to step in and implement healthy strategies for feeding, sleep schedules, & more. Their ability to lead the way takes pressure off of new parents’ shoulders during those first several weeks/months.

NCS (depending on overall experience and credentials) earn $35-50+/hour.

Nanny or Nanny/House Manager

Long-term nannies (FT or PT) are knowledgeable professionals who demonstrate an engaging, individualized, mindful approach to childcare.

If you’d benefit from broader levels of support, house managers can venture into grocery shopping, calendar management, meal prep, errands, travel prep, etc.

Most career nannies in Chicago are offered $28-35+/hour while HM’s earn $32-40/hour.

“Mini” Family Assistant

Busy, working families have a hard enough time staying afloat. Imagine bringing an extra set of hands on deck, and better yet, a self-starter who doesn’t require constant delegation. [Insert sigh of relief]

“Mini” family assistants are intended to provide 5-15 hours/week of miscellaneous support, not always child-related, but orchestrating the household and intuitively filling in the gaps.

Family assistants earn $35-40+/hour. Terms can vary, short or long term.

We focus on what matters most so you don’t have to worry.

  • For nanny hires, we insist on a schedule minimum of 20+ hours per week.

  • Must comply with compensating your nanny as an in-home employee, legally, using a W-2 and inclusive of applicable overtime.

  • Must agree to offering nanny industry standards (i.e. guaranteed weekly pay based on a set schedule, paid vacation, holidays and sick days).

  • Willing to offer a competitive market rate such as $28-35+/hour for nannies & household managers, and $35-50+/hour for Newborn Care Specialists.

  • Open to sharing past nanny references.

Our Process

  • 01. Family Application

    Take a moment to share with us what makes your family special! Once we receive your application, we will reply with a detailed email that includes a link to schedule a video consultation with one of our placement strategists.

  • 02. Video consultation

    The best way for us to make a connection is to meet for a video consultation. We will elaborate on the placement process, the current nanny market, typical duties, salaries, and benefits. Are you first-time parents? We will help you get acclimated to life with a great caregiver on your team.

  • 03. The Matchmaking Begins

    Once you have decided to proceed with our agency, a $650 Engagement Fee will kickstart the matchmaking process.

    Within weeks, we will compile a customized list of the top candidates who fit your criteria and provide you with their detailed NH profiles.

  • 04. Candidate Interviews

    Your agent will coordinate video interviews via Zoom or in-person. You will receive our Interview Guide, which will prepare you for this stage of the process.

    After interviews, we will gather feedback from both you and the nanny candidates to refine your search.

  • 05. Trial Period

    With any candidate(s) you feel could be a strong fit for your family, the next step is to schedule an in-home Trial Period. This allows both the nanny and family to see what a working day is like in your home. Typically, a Trial Period consists of 1-2 visits of 2+ hours, and we provide a Trial Guide to help you get the most out of this time together.

  • 06. Ready to Hire

    Once you have decided on the best fit for your family, we assist with with building your comprehensive Employment Agreement—outlining schedule, pay, duties, benefits, etc.

    Once both parties agree to the terms, it’s official! The Placement Fee will be charged once your nanny accepts the job offer.

  • 07. Support

    We are here to support you throughout your partnership. You may reach out to us anytime for guidance pertaining to life changes or for general advice.

    We truly value the relationships we build with both families and nannies, and we are here for you, every step of the way.

Your Investment

$650 Engagement Fee to start search

After a consultation, payment of the Engagement Fee initiates your search.

PLACEMENT FEE:

Nanny or House Manager:
15% of the candidate's total annual compensation with a minimum base rate of $5,000.

Mini Family Assistant (5-15 hours/week):
$3,250 flat rate for up to 6-month contract (with option for extension).

Newborn Care (Overnight):
20% of the candidate's total gross compensation with a minimum base rate of $5,000.
