PT Nanny/HM Needed in LINCOLN PARK starting *ASAP*!

Routine-oriented, busy family in LINCOLN PARK is seeking a PT Nanny/HM to grow with them, ASAP!

Family has an 8yr, 7yr and 4yr old. They have had lovely, long term partnerships over the years and now that their youngest is in a M-F school schedule, we are looking for an updated schedule and therefore new Nanny/House Manager that supports them from 1:00pm-7:00pm (with flexibility). They really appreciate structure, consistency, strong communication skills and an eye for detail. An early childhood education background is of high value but not a dealbreaker. Looking for a nanny/HM that will provide quality engagement with their children and encourage educational games/activities vs. screen time. This person will play a big role in keeping an organized/functional home (while time allows when kids are in school). It’s important to be engaging, confident, firm when necessary, consistent and they appreciate demonstrating healthy nutrition habits with/around the kids. Openness to travel is helpful but not a strong requirement.

Seeking long term commitment, minimum of 1 year.

REQUIREMENTS: Valid driver’s license & safe driving record. Must have past experience in the realm of house management. MUST be flexible past 7:00pm and to occasionally work overnights.

START: ASAP, within weeks.

SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday from 1:00pm-7:00pm. Guaranteed set weekly pay for 30 hours/week.

DUTIES: Meals for the children. Supporting family laundry. Grocery shopping/ordering, occasional errands as necessary. Staying on top of kids’ extracurricular schedules (bringing healthy meals on-the-go, educational workbooks, sports gear), calendar management. Rotating kids’ clothes for change of seasons, sorting piles to donate. Packing for travel and/or traveling with family. Occasionally working overnights (with notice).

PAY: $35-40/hour, depending on experience. $1,050-1,200/week baseline (before taxes). Paid vacation, paid holidays & paid sick days!
