Infant Nanny in SOUTH LOOP, starting MAY!

Deeply kind and thoughtful new parents in SOUTH LOOP are seeking a PT Infant Nanny to join their family this May!

Baby boy will be about 3.5 months old at the start. This family is filled with genuine warmth, care, and openness, and they would value a partnership that is built upon strong communication and mutual trust. Both parents are emergency medicine physicians and work outside the home, so it is key that their nanny is highly reliable, has a flexible schedule, and is also self-starting and proactive in this role, as it will involve a great deal of autonomy. Schedule will be known 2 months in advance. We’re seeking a candidate who is engaging and active in their approaches with baby—encouraging curiosity through play, being cognizant of developmental milestones, creating space for socialization, adventure, and community. Their little one will also be in PT daycare (walkable from their home), so this role will involve some pickups/dropoffs as needed. Altogether, this is a practical and down-to-earth family that is looking for a true partner who can meet them during this transition and be mindful of the learning curve that will accompany it! REQUIREMENTS:  Up to date on Covid and flu vaccines. Strong infant experience. Reliability is a MUST!

START:  Around mid-May 2025.

SCHEDULE:  Dual physician household, so schedule is variable but will be shared 2 months in advance. It breaks down to 120 hours per month (about 30 hours per week). Shifts of 6-16 hours in length, and candidate will need flexibility for early mornings, evenings, and some weekends. Guaranteed set weekly pay for ~30 hours/week.

DUTIES:  Baby’s laundry, making sure common areas and play areas stay tidy, assisting with food prep for baby as they introduce solids, washing/sterilizing bottles.

PAY:  $30-35/hour, gross, depending on experience. Guaranteed set weekly pay for ~30 hours/week. ($900-1,050/week; up to $4,200/month)
