Inclusive, professional family in LAKE FOREST is looking for a PT Nanny/Household Manager to join their family, ASAP!

Family has a 3 year old son and is expecting baby #2 in July. They’ve had a wonderful run with their current au pair who is wrapping up their term. They are a close-knit family, they are intentional in their approaches and practice respectful parenting. Looking for a confident, self-starter nanny/HM that can navigate each day, balancing household tasks and childcare depending on the hour. Son’s school schedule is 8am-3pm, half days on Fridays, and summer schedule is similar. Safe driving is key: School pickup & driving to extracurricular activities using a family vehicle. The family values open, direct communication and would love to partner with a caregiver that also prefers this. Tentatively planning on a second home in South Loop area where they plan to spend summertime and will spend the school year (Sept-May) in Lake Forest. The ability to flex these 2 locations depending on time of year is important and city parking will be provided. Willingness to travel with the family is a bonus!

REQUIREMENTS: Flu & COVID vaccinations. Driver’s license & safe driving record. Impressive infant (for future) and toddler experience. *Ability to be reliable commuting to/working in 2 home locations for half of each year.*

START: *ASAP*, can be flexible to early February.

SCHEDULE: Monday-Thursday from 1:00pm-7:00pm (can be flexible on the end time). Fridays from 11:00am-5:00pm.

DUTIES: Support with meals and laundry for child/children. Keeping the household orchestrated and well-kept. Grocery shopping/ordering, occasional errands. Transportation (family car), clothing & toy rotation. Assistance with light meal prep would be greatly appreciated. Prefer the ability to travel with family.

PAY: $32-36/hour (gross), $960-1,080/week for 30 hours/week (before taxes).
