Warmhearted, generous first-time parents in LINCOLN PARK are seeking a FT Nanny to join their family in EARLY SEPTEMBER!
Baby boy is 7 months old. This is a wonderful, gracious return client of NH who had a lovely experience with a Newborn Care Specialist during the early stages of their parenthood journey. Now, we are searching for a long-term, experienced caregiver who is looking to grow with this family and who feels confident evolving alongside their dynamic lifestyle and needs. They are intentional and thoughtful with their approaches and value a balance of routine and flexibility, always prioritizing their little one’s well-being while also being able to pivot and go with the flow as necessary.
All in all, we are targeting someone who is extremely flexible, detail-oriented, nurturing, and confident in “reading the room.” They would value a true Chicago “pro” and experienced career nanny who loves to get out and about to parks, classes, activities, library story times, the zoo, etc. and encourage socialization. Mom will often be in and out of the home throughout the day, so comfortability with this dynamic is key. Both parents travel on a fairly regular basis, so while the schedule will usually fall between 9am and 5pm (Mon-Fri), candidate must have the flexibility/availability to shift their hours to weekend care when parents are out of town (always with notice). Domestic and international travel *with* the family would be greatly appreciated on an occasional basis. Family has one golden retriever.
Long term commitment, ideally several years (with ample room for growth).

REQUIREMENTS: Dog-friendly! Driver’s license (family vehicle provided) and PASSPORT READY. Must have strong experience with infants and toddlers.
START: Early September 2025.
SCHEDULE: Full time, guaranteed 40 hours per week. **Flexibility required, as hours will shift at times.** Regular weekly hours will generally fall between 9am and 5pm on Mon-Fri, but nanny must have flexibility to offer weekend care and overnights (with notice, especially when parents are traveling), along with some evening care in the case of events, date nights, etc. Seeking passport readiness and willingness to travel with the family a few times per year as well.
DUTIES: Maintaining tidy common areas and play areas throughout the day, supporting with baby’s laundry and bottle washing, meal prep for baby as solids are being introduced, keeping inventory of nursery items and ordering as needed.
PAY: $32-40/hour, gross, before taxes. Guaranteed weekly rate of $1,280-1,600/week for 40 hours per week.
2 weeks of paid vacation, paid holidays, paid sick days, potential healthcare stipend if candidate is interested!
