Loving, open-minded new parents in LINCOLN PARK are seeking a FT Nanny to join their family in LATE AUGUST!

Baby boy will be about 3.5 months old at the start. These first-time parents are warm, attentive, curious, and collaborative, and this parenthood journey is brand new and filled with learning experiences! We are looking for someone who is flexible and empathetic, ready and open to meet them where they’re at in these early months and beyond. This role is ideal for a strong, open communicator, an anticipator who is proactive in their approaches with baby and who brings a high level of engagement. Picture plenty of sensory experiences, learning through play, singing songs and narrating the day, early literacy exposure, scaffolding approaches to developmental milestones.

Ultimately, they would love support in raising a kind, curious, empathetic, and open-minded child, and they recognize that this stems from creating a joyful, safe space, where their son can thrive and where everyone feels like an integral part of the team. Looking for someone self-starting and detail-oriented, with a “lifelong learner” energy. Parents both work hybrid schedules, but when they are home, they work in separate office areas, on different floors from the nursery, living space, and kitchen. Building a foundation of mutual trust is really important to them, right from the start. ***One parent has severe cat allergies; not ideal for candidates with cats in their own home. REQUIREMENTS:  Up to date on standard vaccinations is a MUST - Covid, Tdap, flu. Infant + toddler experience. ***One parent has severe cat allergies, so ideal if their nanny does not have a cat at home.***

START:  August 25th, 2025 (flexible through September 2nd for the right fit).

SCHEDULE:  Monday to Friday, from ~8:00am to 5:00pm, with slight variations within these hours (e.g. 8:30am-5pm or 8am-4:30pm). Guaranteed 42.5 hours per week.

DUTIES:  Washing and sterilizing bottles, making sure common areas and play areas stay tidy throughout the day, assisting with food prep for baby down the line, supporting with cleanup after mealtimes. Some support with baby’s laundry.

PAY:  $28-32/hour (gross, before taxes). Guaranteed weekly rate of $1,225-1,400/week for 42.5 hours.

2 weeks PTO, paid holidays, paid sick days, potential healthcare stipend!
