Dynamic, friendly family in ARLINGTON HEIGHTS is seeking a PT House Manager to join their family by END OF AUGUST!

Family has three kids: 11yo, 9yo, and 5yo. Their household is busy and bustling, especially as they aim to keep up with a growing list of activities for their growing boys! All in all, they are seeking an energetic, self-directed, and trustworthy partner for their family who will allow them to maintain structure/routines while keeping warmth and love at the center of their home. Every day can be a little different, depending on school schedules, activities, sports, and more, so it's important that this person is able to go with the flow, think on their feet, and anticipate needs and changes. Both parents are busy professionals who are not looking to micromanage, so we are looking for someone who is self-starting and can look around, see what the house needs, and feel confident in handling it. Family values strong communication and would appreciate a positive role model who encourages kindness and integrity in the day to day. All kids will be in school full time.

Long-term commitment, minimum of 1 year.

REQUIREMENTS:  Up to date on standard vaccinations + flu shot. Driver’s License and reliable personal vehicle required.

START:  August 31, 2026.

SCHEDULE:  15-20 guaranteed hours per week, with flexibility on exact days/hours. Possible schedule could be two days per week from ~12pm-6pm, along with one later evening shift per week (e.g. 2/3pm-9pm) to allow for standing date night. Open to discussion for the right fit.

DUTIES:  General household support: laundry, meal prep/shopping, tidying throughout the day, organizing kids’ clothes, rotating seasonal clothes for kids; planning for the following day as needed to set everyone up for success (packing lunches, laying out clothes, helping pack sports bags, etc), vendor management; pick-up from school and activities (afternoons).

PAY:  $35-45/hour (gross, before taxes). Guaranteed weekly rate of $525-900/week for 15-20 hours, depending on experience and candidate’s chosen schedule.
