Generous, fun-loving family in WILMETTE is seeking a PT Nanny/House Manager to join their family, ASAP!

Family has two boys, ages 2.5yo and 9mo. If you thrive in a home environment that is active and energetic and prioritizes warmth, curiosity, independence, and fun - then you’ve come to the right place! We are seeking an experienced, proactive candidate who is a strong and thoughtful communicator and who sees their work as a true partnership. This family brings a great amount of balance to the table: laidback energy while still providing lots of hands-on engagement, encouraging independence while also offering consistent boundaries, taking the time to listen to their little ones’ ideas and ensuring everyone feels involved. They would value a partner for their family who brings this same kind of “team” energy to the table, someone who is an active supporter, thinks on their feet, and can take initiative without too much delegation. Candidate must have a strong collaborative nature, working alongside a SAHM and understanding there will be times where mom and nanny will work hand-in-hand or “divide and conquer.” Their oldest son goes to school on weekday mornings.

Their boys are already super active, so spending time outdoors is highly encouraged! Parks, libraries, classes, story times - you name it! Getting outside, enjoying the fresh air, and building community will be greatly appreciated. Plus, they would love it if their nanny had a good sense of humor and wasn’t afraid to be silly! Kids are FUNNY, and they would value a nanny who sees this and really leans into the joy and magic of childhood with their boys: singing songs, dance parties, reading tons of books, playing cars and trucks and make believe!

Long-term commitment, minimum of 1 year.

REQUIREMENTS:  Driver’s license and clean driving record. Can provide a family vehicle whenever necessary.

START:   ASAP, but flexible for the right fit.

SCHEDULE:   Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 8:30am to 3:00pm and Tues/Thurs from 10:00am to 3:00pm. Guaranteed set weekly pay for 29.5 hours/week.

DUTIES:  Maintaining tidy common areas (family also has support of a cleaning service), children’s laundry, snack/meal prep, pickups and drop-offs as needed. Openness to evolving household management tasks: family meal prep, household inventory, grocery shopping or ordering/pickup, etc. (Deciding on these tasks together and working as a team; being realistic with expectations as care & safety of the kids is always the top priority)

PAY:  $32-38+/hour (gross, before taxes). Guaranteed weekly rate of $944-1,121+/week for 29.5 hours. Slightly flexible with pay for the right fit.

2 weeks PTO of nanny’s choosing, paid federal holidays, paid sick days, healthcare stipend!
