Nurturing, close-knit family in BUCKTOWN is seeking a FT Nanny to join their family, ASAP!

Baby boy is 8 months old. These new parents are warm, attentive, thoughtful, and collaborative, and this parenthood journey has involved a lot of learning as they go! We’re seeking an experienced and reliable nanny candidate who is ready to really jump into the day to day with their little one, an anticipator who is proactive in their approaches with baby and who brings a high level of engagement. Picture plenty of sensory experiences, learning through play, singing songs and narrating the day, early literacy exposure. Ultimately, they want their home to be a joyful, comforting space, where their son can thrive and everyone feels like an integral part of the team. Looking for someone self-starting, with a “lifelong learner” energy. Parents both work hybrid schedules, but when they are home, they work in separate office areas, on a different floor from the nursery, living space, and kitchen. Building a foundation of mutual trust is really important to them, right from the start. Those with impressive infant and toddler experience are encouraged to apply.

Long-term commitment, minimum of 1 year.

REQUIREMENTS:  Up to date on Covid, Tdap, and flu vaccines. Infant + toddler experience.

START:  ASAP. Slight flexibility for the right fit.

SCHEDULE:  Monday-Friday from ~8:00am to 4:00pm. Could be flexible with 8:30am-4:30pm schedule as well. Guaranteed set weekly pay for 40 hours/week.

DUTIES:  Baby’s laundry, making sure common areas and play areas stay tidy, assisting with food prep for baby and BLW recipes as they continue to introduce solids, supporting with cleanup after mealtimes.

PAY:  $28-32/hour, depending on experience. $1,120-1,280/week, gross, before taxes.
