Friendly and warmhearted new parents in WICKER PARK are seeking a FT Nanny to join their family!

Baby girl is 6 months old. This is a family environment that is full of love, kindness, and FUN, and we’re targeting a confident and highly experienced infant nanny who also has a strong background with toddlers, as they would love for this candidate to grow alongside them! As first-time parents, this journey is all new for them, so they would value a partner who can offer empathy and understanding and who can also share thoughtful guidance, ideas, and approaches. This is a collaborative team effort, and their caregiver will be a valued member of their team! They’re close to their local library, plenty of parks, potentially some classes down the line, and they believe in the importance of building community and having opportunities for socialization. Both parents will work from home the majority of the time, but they have separate office areas and want their caregiver to be able to feel autonomous, trusted, and independent. Candidate should be active and hands-on in their approaches with baby: getting down on her level, narrating the day, spending lots of time outdoors, etc. Those with impressive infant and toddler experience are encouraged to apply. Family has two dogs; no care required.

Long-term commitment, minimum of 1 year.

REQUIREMENTS:  Dog-friendly! Up to date on Covid, Tdap, and flu vaccines.

START:  Mid to late February. Flexible into early March for the right fit.

SCHEDULE:  Monday-Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm. Guaranteed set weekly pay for 40 hours/week.

DUTIES:  Maintaining tidy common areas and play areas, baby’s laundry, food prep for baby and assisting with introducing solids, supporting with washing bottles.

PAY:  $28-30+/hour, depending on experience. $1,120-1,200+/week, gross, before taxes.

2+ weeks PTO, paid holidays, paid sick days, potential healthcare stipend!
