FT Nanny in NORTHBROOK starting late APRIL!

Thoughtful and welcoming first-time parents in Northbrook are seeking a FT Nanny to join their family late April.

Baby boy will be 5 months old at the start date. As first time parents this whole journey is new to them so we are prioritizing a candidate with impressive infant experience who is nurturing, collaborative, flexible and can offer them thoughtful guidance and overall warmth.

Both parents are busy, hardworking professionals who are looking for a long-term caregiver they can depend on. They would value a partnership that is based on self-accountability, honesty, and safety. This family is intentional and thoughtful with their approaches when it comes to infant development and routines. They are excited to find a caregiver who will be fully engaged with the baby by reading, taking walks, narrating the day, fostering his curiosity and helping him reach all significant milestones.

Long-term commitment, minimum of one year but ideally longer.

REQUIREMENTS: Impressive infant experience. Fully vaccinated. Driver’s license & safe driving record. Must have car. Dog friendly. Fluency in Spanish is preferred. Reliability is a must!

START: Ideally on Tuesday, April 29

SCHEDULE: Tuesday-Thursday 7:00am-5:00pm, and either Monday or Friday each week depending on mom’s work schedule (1.5 month advance notice). Flexibility for a 6:00am-4:00pm schedule 1-2 days a month.

DUTIES: Washing/sterilizing bottles, baby’s laundry, making sure common areas and play areas stay tidy, rotating clothes, assisting with food prep for baby as they introduce solids

PAY: $28-35/hour, gross, depending on experience. Guaranteed weekly set pay for 40 hours/week.  ($1120-1400/week, before taxes).
