FT Nanny/HM in WEST LOOP, starting JULY! (Open to 1 or 2 Candidates)
Professional, warmhearted first-time parents in WEST LOOP are seeking a FT Nanny/House Manager (**or TWO nanny/house managers!**) to join their family in JULY!
Baby is due in May and will be about 8 weeks old at the start, so this is a brand new, exciting journey for the family. Both parents are physicians and work long hours outside the home, so it is pivotal that their nanny is highly reliable/flexible and is also proactive and confident, as this role will involve a high amount of independence and autonomy. This is a great position for someone who is self-starting and doesn’t need a ton of hand holding—someone who is ready to think on their feet and be thoughtful in their decision making. The family is also excited about the possibility of their little one getting out for walks and eventually going to parks, classes, libraries, and story times, especially from a community-building and socialization standpoint. Seeking a candidate who can confidently provide engaging and active infant care while also taking initiative with household management tasks on a regular basis. Ideal for a go-getter with high energy who is ready to jump in and also go with the flow as needed. Family has one dog who goes to daycare but will be around the home as well.

REQUIREMENTS: Dog-friendly! Up to date on Covid, Tdap, and flu vaccines. Strong infant experience. Reliability is a MUST!
START: July 2025, likely around mid-July.
SCHEDULE: Monday to Friday, 6:00am to 6:00pm. A total of 60 hours per week. Willing to consider one person for 60 hours per week, or 2 people splitting the schedule (i.e. Mon, Wed, Fri candidate and Tues/Thurs candidate, OR splitting the day with 6am-2pm for one candidate and 12/1pm-6pm for other candidate, to allow for a little overlap with household management)
DUTIES: Baby’s laundry, making sure common areas and play areas stay tidy, assisting with food prep for baby as they introduce solids, washing/sterilizing bottles. Supporting with family errands, some meal prep, potentially some travel with family.
PAY: $30-35/hour, gross, before taxes. Guaranteed set weekly pay of $2,100-2,450/week for 60 hours. Family is also open to hiring two nannies for their family, and splitting the schedule. This could look like having one nanny on Mon, Wed, Fri and guaranteeing 36 hours per week to this person, and having another nanny on Tues/Thurs and guaranteeing 24 hours to this person. They are also open to dividing the day, with one nanny from 6am-2pm and one nanny from 1pm-6pm or even 12pm-6pm to allow for a little overlap. For these lighter schedules, they are open to offering $35-38+/hour, gross, before taxes.
