FT Temp Nanny in WILMETTE, starting ASAP (4-month term)!

Gracious, down-to-earth family in WILMETTE is seeking a FT Nanny (Temporary) to begin ASAP, for 4-month term!

Family has two children: 3yo and 14mo. Looking for an active, kind, supportive, and self-starting partner for their sweet family over the next four months, before their youngest begins daycare in the fall. Their 3yo already goes to daycare full time, so care will primarily be for their toddler. Family values a nurturing, validating, and fun-loving approach, encouraging curiosity from an early age and learning through play. We are seeking an experienced candidate who is comfortable taking initiative with planning activities for their little one—parks, playgrounds, trips to the local community center. A true go-getter and toddler pro who is ready to jump in and meet this family where they’re at! Family has one small dog; no care required, but must be comfortable with this.

REQUIREMENTS:  Dog-friendly! Up to date on Covid and Tdap. Must be able to commit to the full 4-month contract.

START:  ASAP. Ideally on or around April 28th, 2025.

SCHEDULE:  Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm. Guaranteed set weekly pay for 42.5 hours per week.

DUTIES:  Children’s laundry and changing their bedding on a regular basis. Supporting with snack/meal prep for the kids. Ensuring that common areas stay tidy throughout the day (living room, kitchen, play room, bedroom) and cleaning up after mealtimes.

PAY:  $32-37/hour, depending on experience. $1,400-1,618/week, gross, before taxes.
