Thoughtful, professional first-time parents in LOGAN SQUARE are seeking a FT Nanny to join their family in JANUARY!
Baby boy will be about 4 months old at the start. Looking for a trustworthy, mature, detail-oriented, and experienced infant nanny who is eager to truly partner with their family and grow alongside them. As first-time parents, much of this will be new for them, so they would value a nanny who can meet them with flexibility and understanding in this new season, while also offering sound guidance and thoughtful ideas. Big emphasis on collaboration, open communication, critical thinking, and a healthy feedback loop between all parties!
We are prioritizing a candidate who brings strong experience and a high level of discernment to the table, is familiar with developmental milestones, and has a goal-oriented mindset/philosophy - tracking milestones and coming up with creative ways to engage with the baby and encourage development/growth. Parents would also appreciate the opportunity to build in socialization for their little one down the line, so spending time outside the home (parks, story times, classes) will be appreciated. Those with strong infant and toddler experience are encouraged to apply. Family has one small dog.
Long-term commitment, minimum of 1 year.

REQUIREMENTS: Dog-friendly! Long-term infant and toddler experience. Driver’s license and clean driving record. Personal vehicle could be a bonus but by no means a requirement.
START: January 2026, flexible on exact date.
SCHEDULE: Full time, guaranteed 45 hours per week. **Flexibility needed, as hours will shift at times.**
General baseline weekly schedule: Monday 10:30am to 6:30pm, Tuesday 8:00am to 4:00pm, Wednesday 8:00am to 8:00pm, Thursday 8:00am to 4:00pm, Friday 7:00am to 11:00am (40 hours), plus 5 additional "flex" hours to allow for coverage in the case of extended work hours, some Saturdays (1-2x per month), ad-hoc date night sitting, etc (all with ample notice). Infrequent overnights and possibility for schedule to hit 50+ hours/week on a very occasional basis.
DUTIES: Maintaining tidy common areas and play areas, baby’s laundry, washing and sterilizing bottles, snack/meal prep for baby down the line, organizing/rotating child’s clothes based on seasons and sizes, keeping nursery and diaper bags stocked with the essentials.
PAY: $30-35+/hour, $1,425-1,662+/week, gross, before taxes. Opportunity for $74k-86k+ annual base.
