Laidback, warm-natured family in BUFFALO GROVE is seeking a FT Nanny to join their family ASAP!

This amazing family has a 2-year-old boy and another little one arriving in May! Looking for an upbeat, energetic, adaptable, and proactive partner for their family who passionate about toddler care and who will support them in easing into this transition from one child to two. This is a lively home with an active toddler, and they take a flexible, balanced approach to parenting: prioritizing routines, structure, and boundaries while also being able to go with the flow and not feeling pressure to maintain perfection. Big emphasis on positivity, laughter, and raising kind and confident kids, above all else!

Community and socialization are also very important to them - staying active and taking initiative with getting out and about and engaging with other caregivers and children on a regular basis (walks, parks, story times, classes). Fun-loving and good humor a major plus! :)

Family has one dog, no care required.

Long-term commitment, minimum of 1 year.

REQUIREMENTS:  Dog-friendly! Long-term infant and toddler experience. Driver’s license and clean driving record. Personal vehicle is highly preferred but not a set requirement. Up to date on Covid, Tdap, and flu vaccines.

START:  ASAP, some flexibility for the right fit.

SCHEDULE:  Monday to Friday, from 8:00am to 4:00pm. Some flexibility to shift hours on occasion. Guaranteed set weekly pay for 40 hours per week.

DUTIES:  Maintaining tidy common areas and play areas, children’s laundry, support with meal prep for children, organizing/rotating clothes based on seasons and sizes, keeping nursery and diaper bags stocked with the essentials.

PAY:  $30-32+/hour (gross, before taxes). Guaranteed weekly rate of $1,200-1,280+/week for 40 hours.
