Chicago Suburbs • FT Nanny needed in HIGHLAND PARK starting by LATE JULY!

Down-to-earth, active family in HIGHLAND PARK is seeking a FT Nanny to join their family by END OF JULY!

This sweet family has two children: 2yo daughter and 3mo son. We’re targeting an intentional, proactive, confident, and engaging partner for their family - someone who values hands-on, screen-free care. Lots of narrating the day, reading, outdoor time and adventures, crafts and sensory activities, and play that helps their kids learn and grow. They would love to provide some level of structure in the day to day, creating healthy routines and providing ample opportunities for socialization. Both parents work from home but have demanding jobs, so great communication and strong initiative are KEY! Family appreciates a kind, engaged, and developmentally-minded approach, and their nanny will need to be confident with balancing both infant and toddler care. If you love thoughtfully planning and scheduling outings to local libraries, parks, classes, and playdates, that will go such a long way in this role! ***Hindi or Urdu speaking a plus, but not a set requirement!***

Long-term commitment, minimum of 1 year.

REQUIREMENTS:  Driver’s license and safe driving record. Family vehicle can be provided! Must be up to date on vaccines, including seasonal flu and Covid. ****Hindi or Urdu speaking a HUGE plus!****

START:  ASAP, with flexibility through the end of July for the right fit.

SCHEDULE:  Monday to Friday, from 8:00am to 4:00pm. Guaranteed 40 hours per week.

DUTIES:  Maintaining tidy common areas and play areas throughout the day, supporting with children’s laundry and bottle washing / sterilizing, daily meal/snack prep for the kids, driving in family vehicle.

PAY:  $30-40/hour (gross, before taxes), depending on experience. Guaranteed weekly rate of $1,200-1,600/week for 40 hours.
