Active and busy family in LINCOLN PARK is seeking a Mini Family Assistant to join their family, ASAP!

Family has two children, 11 years old and 10 years old. With demanding jobs and two kids in after-school activities, this is a lively, active, and happy household! They do their best to maintain a relatively structured home, while understanding that there are a lot of moving pieces to account for in the day to day. For this reason, parents would value a caregiver / family assistant who is highly proactive, flexible, and detail-oriented, someone who brings a balanced energy to their family and feels confident managing and prioritizing different tasks throughout the household. While childcare is a smaller component of this role, they would appreciate support with school pickup and activity transportation.

REQUIREMENTS: Driver’s license and safe driving record. Personal vehicle a strong bonus.

START: ASAP, with flexibility to prioritize the right fit.

SCHEDULE: 20 guaranteed hours per week, ideally on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday (possibly Wednesdays). Majority of support will focus on household management, with childcare accounting for a few afternoon hours per week. Sample schedule could be Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday from 1:00pm to 6:00pm. Highly flexible with exact schedule.

DUTIES: Home organization, meal prep, grocery shopping, calendar management, running errands, returns, rotating clothes by size and season, supporting with school pickups beginning in September.

PAY: $38-42/hour (gross, before taxes). Guaranteed weekly rate of $760-840/week for 20 hours.
