Busy, professional first-time parents in RIVER NORTH are seeking a FT Nanny to join their family in OCTOBER!
Baby boy will be about 5 months old at the start. While this is their first child and certain things will shift and develop with time as they move deeper into their parenthood journey, it’s already clear that BALANCE is a major value for this family: creating predictable routines for their son and setting clear, reasonable boundaries wherever possible, while also offering flexibility and not getting too caught up in rigidity. They are seeking a partner for their family who shares in this balanced, big-picture approach! Both parents are incredibly busy in their jobs and do not want to micromanage, so we are seeking a true self-starter here - someone with ample experience, confidence, and discernment who can jump in and say, “I’ve got this!” when it comes to planning the day, organizing outings and activities on a daily basis, encouraging active engagement and exploration, and eventually getting their little one involved in the day-to-day movement of their household with the understanding that “many hands make light work.”
Long-term commitment, minimum of 1 year but ideally much longer.

REQUIREMENTS: Must be up to date on vaccines, including seasonal flu and Covid. Strong infant + toddler experience a must. Candidate should ideally be comfortable utilizing public transit for commuting to work.
START: Around October 12, 2026.
SCHEDULE: Monday to Friday, with hours generally falling between 8:30am and 5:30pm. Guaranteed minimum of 40 hours per week, with frequent opportunity for overtime. Seeking flexibility for occasional overnights and later evenings with advance notice and additional compensation.
DUTIES: Maintaining tidy common areas and play areas throughout the day, supporting with washing / sterilizing bottles, baby’s laundry, loading/unloading dishwasher as needed, food prep for baby and assisting with introducing solids down the line, keeping nursery and diaper bag stocked with essentials. Light household management like ordering and organizing family groceries.
PAY: $32-36/hour (gross, before taxes). Guaranteed weekly rate of $1,280-1,440/week for 40 hours. Overtime pay at 1.5x for all hours over 40 in a workweek.
