Chicago • *TEMP* FT Nanny (~6 months) needed in LOGAN SQUARE starting EARLY OCTOBER!

Thoughtful, close-knit family in LOGAN SQUARE is seeking a **TEMPORARY** FT Nanny to join their family in EARLY OCTOBER!

This sweet family has a baby girl who joined their family early! She will be about 4 months old at the start (corrected age of a little over 2 months old). For this reason, we are seeking a true newborn/infant pro who also has experience with preemies - an intentional, proactive, trustworthy, and experienced partner for their family. As first-time parents, this journey is new for them, so they would value a nanny who can meet them with flexibility and understanding in this season, while also bringing strong experience and a high level of discernment to the table. Must be knowledgeable with developmental milestones, ensuring their little girl has all the resources and engagement she needs, and coming up with creative ways to engage with baby and encourage development/growth in a patient and low-pressure manner.

Aiming for a ***6-month term*** (running through April 2, 2027)

REQUIREMENTS: Must be up to date on vaccines, including seasonal flu and Covid. Strong newborn + infant experience a must, with a strong preference for experience with preemies.

START:  Early October 2026 (with 6-month contract running through April 2nd 2027)

SCHEDULE:  Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 4:30pm, with occasional flexibility needed. Guaranteed 40 hours per week.

DUTIES:  Maintaining tidy common areas and nursery/play space throughout the day, supporting with baby’s laundry and bottle washing / sterilizing, sanitizing and rotating toys.

PAY:  $30-40/hour (gross, before taxes), depending on experience. Guaranteed weekly rate of $1,200-1,600/week for 40 hours.
