Delightful family in LINCOLN PARK is seeking a highly-skilled, TRAVEL-READY FT Nanny/HM to join their family ASAP!
Family is newer to the area and has a 13 year old daughter, 7 year old son and newborn. We are searching for an adaptable, proactive, trustworthy partner for their family who thrives in an environment where there are both child-related and household organization/tasks to accomplish while children are in school. Looking for a confident and capable individual who anticipates the next stage, works efficiently and aims to be prepared. Experience with ADHD and familiarity with executive functioning oversight is of value. While mom will primarily be caring for baby at home, nanny/HM should be experienced and helpful in this area in order to be able to exchange tasks and demonstrate versatility. For this role, we're targeting candidates who are polished, discreet, and can manage a busy household autonomously - someone who doesn't need hand-holding and can hit the ground running.
Long-term commitment, minimum of 1 year.
REQUIREMENTS: Fully-vaccinated (covid, flu, Tdap). Role requires a city-savvy driver with a clean driving record (family car provided). Dog-friendly. Travel-ready; available for domestic travel with notice. Must have schedule flexibility to provide overnight support with notice. Must have 2+ years of house management experience and stellar references. Must have impressive skills collaborating with a SAH parent, with infants and with various age groups (working with 2-3 children in one household).
START: ASAP, some flexibility for the right fit.
SCHEDULE: M-F: Monday/Wednesday/Thursday/Friday from 9:00/10:00am-5:00pm. Longer Tuesdays from 2:00pm-9:00pm. Guaranteed weekly pay for 40 hours/week regardless of exact hours worked. (*Schedule may shift while children are off-school during summer; ~9am-5pm or similar).
DUTIES: Various house management/maintenance tasks prior to picking children up from school: tidying up main spaces, dishes, accomplishing weekly grocery shopping/ordering and supporting light, family meal-prep. Guiding older children with school assignments, occasionally tutoring. Preparing for upcoming trips. Running errands, birthday party/dinner party planning and execution. Engaging with vendors and contractors.
PAY: Depending on background/experience, offering $45-55/hour, gross. $95-115k base salary (additional compensation for overnights and travel). Paid vacation, paid major holidays, paid sick days!
