Lovely and welcoming family in BUCKTOWN is seeking a PT Nanny/HM to join their family in late JUNE!

Family has 7yo twin girls. They are seeking an experienced nanny/house manager who is fun, interactive, patient, and able to think outside the box! Both parents are busy professionals and are looking for a dependable long-term partner to support their household and provide consistent care. They have formed close, lasting relationships with past caregivers, seeing them as part of the family. We are looking for a candidate who likes to plan fun activities (think dance parties, bike rides, crafts, etc.) while also helping to raise mindful and responsible children. This role will include a true blend of childcare (engaging with children while supporting after school routines) and household management tasks (see below). Family is open to offering additional hours to a candidate who is experienced in weekly family meal preparation, including planning, cooking, and organizing nutritious meals. Familiarity with food allergies is a plus!

Long-term commitment, minimum of one year but ideally longer.

REQUIREMENTS: Driver’s license, safe driving record and personal vehicle to transport children. Up to date on vaccines. Proven experience with school-age children and strong household management skills.

START: June 22, 2026

SCHEDULE: Core childcare hours are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday 3:00-6:30pm and Thursday 3:00pm-7:30pm. Household management tasks will mostly be completed prior to school pickup between the hours of 12:30-3:00 (flexible). (*Candidate must also have the availability to stay later in the evening 2-4 times a month, with advance notice). (**Possibility of additional hours for a candidate interested in and who has proven experience with family meal preparation).

DUTIES: School pickup and homework support. Children’s laundry and snack/meal prep. Grocery shopping and pantry/closet organization. Loading/unloading dishwasher as needed, errands, and maintaining tidy common areas.

PAY: $35-40/hr (gross, before taxes), depending on background and experience. Guaranteed weekly rate of $1,050-1,200/week for 30 hours. Paid vacation, paid holidays, & paid sick days!
