Chicago • FT Nanny/HM needed in HYDE PARK, ASAP!

Gentle, even-keeled parents in HYDE PARK are seeking a FT Nanny/House Manager to join their family, ASAP!

Family has two boys: 2 years old and 4 years old. Seeking a proactive, reliable, and warm nanny who practices present and patient caregiving. One child will be in daycare for the majority of the day, his school is within walking distance for pickup. Both parents are busy professionals who need a dependable partner for their family - someone they know they can trust and count on. It is important to them to bring a calm and respectful energy to the home, as well as being patient, consistent, and experienced with positive behavioral support and co-regulation techniques. Someone who is thoughtful when it comes to their sons' development, especially the cognitive, creative, and socio-emotional components. Some household management tasks are expected when children are in summer camps, etc. Family also has one older dog, who does not require care. Minimum of 1 year commitment.

REQUIREMENTS: Dog-friendly! Must be fully-vaccinated (Covid, Flu, Tdap).

START: ASAP, flexible for the right fit.

SCHEDULE: Monday to Thursday, from 8:00am to 6:00pm. Guaranteed total of 40 hours per week. Occasional weekend availability with advanced notice is a plus!

DUTIES: Maintaining tidy common areas and play areas throughout the day, supporting with the child’s laundry, snack and meal prep for the child, occasional grocery shopping, cleaning up in the kitchen after use, school pickup.

PAY: $32-38/hour (gross, before taxes). Guaranteed weekly rate of $1280-1520/week for 40 hours. Paid vacation, paid holidays, & paid sick days!
