Kindhearted, collaborative parent in UKRAINIAN VILLAGE is seeking a Mini Family Assistant to join their family ASAP!

Family has one child, 2 years old. With a toddler and two large dogs, this is a lively, active, and happy household! They do their best to maintain a relatively structured home, while understanding that there are a lot of moving pieces to account for in the day to day. For this reason, mom would value a caregiver / family assistant who is highly proactive, flexible, and detail-oriented, someone who brings a balanced energy to their family and feels confident managing and prioritizing different tasks throughout the household. They stay very connected to their local community for support and engagement and are excited to broaden their circle of care in this way. While childcare is a smaller component of this role, demonstrated passion for this side of the job is very important: practicing present and intentional caregiving, hands-on engagement and minimal screen time, focused play time and lots of reading.

REQUIREMENTS:  Must be dog-friendly! COVID vaccine & annual flu shot preferred. Driver’s license and safe driving record. Personal vehicle a strong bonus.

START:  ASAP, with flexibility to prioritize the right fit.

SCHEDULE:  15 guaranteed hours per week, ideally on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Majority of support will focus on household management, with childcare accounting for ~6 hours per week. Sample schedule could be Tuesday-Thursday from 1:00pm to 6:00pm. Occasional flexibility to support earlier morning hours (e.g. 8-9am) and/or overnights is a bonus.

DUTIES:  Home organization, toy rotation, vendor management (coordinating with house cleaners, tree trimmers, etc), running errands, returns, rotating clothes by size and season, supporting with school pickups beginning in September.

PAY:  $35-40/hour (gross, before taxes). Guaranteed weekly rate of $525-600/week for 15 hours.
