Chicago • FT Nanny in Wicker Park, starting ASAP!

Friendly, professional parents in WICKER PARK are seeking a FT Nanny** to join their family, ASAP!

Family has a one-year-old girl. They are looking for a trustworthy, genuine, and loving nanny who is eager to truly partner with their family and grow alongside them. Both parents are busy, hardworking professionals who are seeking a long-term caregiver they can depend on. Big emphasis on collaboration, open communication, and a healthy feedback loop between all parties!

They are prioritizing a candidate who brings strong experience and a high level of discernment, is familiar with developmental milestones, and will come up with creative ways to engage with their daughter and encourage curiosity/growth. Family also has two friendly dogs.

**Family splits their time between Chicago and Arizona for half of the year. They would like to hire on a long-term candidate to work full-time while they are in Chicago until December, and then will hold their availability with a retainer until they return to the city in May. They have a nanny in Arizona as well**

Long-term commitment, minimum of 1 year.

REQUIREMENTS: Dog-friendly! Driver’s license and clean driving record. Fully vaccinated. Fluency in Spanish is preferred, but not required. Occasional flexibility to travel.

START: ASAP!

SCHEDULE: Monday to Friday, from 8:30am to 5:30pm, guaranteed 45 hours per week. 6 month commitment while family is in Chicago, after which time a "retainer" will be provided at 20 hours per week for ~5 months. Flexibility for evening and weekend babysitting appreciated (all with ample notice).

DUTIES: Maintaining tidy common areas and play areas, child’s laundry, snack/meal prep for child, organizing/rotating child’s clothes based on seasons and sizes, occasionally ordering groceries.

PAY: $30-32+/hour (gross, before taxes). Guaranteed weekly rate of $1425-1520/week for 45 hours/wk. Paid vacation, paid holidays, & paid sick days!
