Kind-hearted and collaborative family in OLD TOWN is seeking a PT Nanny to join their family, ASAP!

Family has a soon-to-be 3yo girl and recently welcomed a baby boy, much earlier than expected. Their newborn will need to spend a great deal of time in the NICU so they are seeking immediate and flexible support as they adjust to their new temporary schedule. At the start, nanny will primarily care for 3yo girl by providing stability and routine in a warm and nurturing manner. Parents will be in and out of the home as they focus on their newborn’s health and early development. Therefore we are seeking candidates who are go-getters, have extensive toddler/preschool-age experiences, and are willing to jump in to help in any way that is needed.

After newborn is home and the family settles back into their normal routine, specific daily hours may adjust, though guaranteed weekly hours will remain unchanged. Because of this, we are seeking candidates who can be flexible and collaborative. Family is also willing to be flexible with schedule and hours for the right candidate! They have a dog and a cat- both extremely friendly and will require very minimal care.

REQUIREMENTS:  Flexibility. Must have impressive preschool-age and infant experience. Drivers license and personal car. Dog and cat friendly.

START: ASAP, flexible for the right candidate

SCHEDULE: Monday through Friday 1:00pm-6:00pm (flexible with days and times for the right candidate). Family would also like to offer occasional weekend hours if nanny’s schedule allows, but weekend hours are not mandatory. Flexibility to allow for daily hours to possibly shift after newborn is home. Guarantee of 25 hours/week.

DUTIES:  Snack and meal prep, children’s laundry, maintaining tidy play areas and common areas throughout the day,

PAY:  $38-42/hour, $950-1,050/week, gross (before taxes). Guaranteed 25 hours/week.
