Discreet, busy family in ELMHURST is seeking a TEMPORARY (4 months) FT Nanny/HM starting mid-MAY!

Family has a 5yo, 4yo, almost 2yo and a baby due in May. Family lives permanently out-of-state but will be staying in Elmhurst for summer months when dad is off-season. This role will involve tag-teaming with the SAHM who will be recovering postpartum and primarily care for the newborn. There will be family around to support her and lend a hand with newborn care, but we are looking for someone comfortable and experienced with infants to be able to step in, if necessary. We’re searching for a very confident, very capable “nanny extraordinaire” that loves to hustle, loves to get physical and play outside with the kids, and loves to tackle a multitude of ever-changing tasks related to the kids/home. A great fit in this role will be open-minded, someone that rolls with the punches, someone highly-capable multi-tasking with multiple children of different age groups, someone flexible/adaptable and unruffled.

REQUIREMENTS:  **Please note this is NOT a traditional summer role as the time frame involves early/mid-MAY through mid/late SEPTEMBER. In order to apply, you must be available for the entirety of the contract term**.

Requires 2+ years of house management experience and stellar references. Must have impressive skills collaborating with a SAH parent, with infants and with various age groups (working with 2-3 children in one household).

START:  Must start early/mid-MAY (& available through mid/end of SEPTEMBER)

SCHEDULE:  Monday-Friday from 8:00am-4:00pm (slightly flexible). Set pay for 40 hours/week. Term will be mid-May through mid-September (exact dates TBD).

DUTIES:  Various house management/maintenance tasks prior to picking children up from school: tidying up main spaces, dishes, accomplishing weekly grocery shopping/ordering and supporting light, light meal-prep. Laundry for the kids. Occasional extracurricular activities/camps.

PAY:  Depending on background, offering $40-45/hour, gross. $1,600-1,800/week, before taxes. PTO within reason.
