Warm, even-keeled new parents in STREETERVILLE are seeking a FT Nanny to join their family in EARLY JULY!
Baby girl will be about 3 months old at the start. We are seeking a professional, proactive, and warm-natured nanny for their family who feels deeply passionate about this work and would love to grow with their family long-term. Parents would value a nanny who can take initiative with planning activities and outings, someone with good judgment and strong discernment skills who doesn’t need tons of direction. This is a team-oriented environment where they would like their nanny to feel like a true partner! It will be important to encourage outdoor activities - trips to libraries, parks, and museums - as well as thoughtful engagement throughout the day: early literacy, getting down on baby’s level, narrating the day, being well-versed in developmental milestones. Altogether, this is a genuine and down-to-earth family that is looking for a caregiver who can meet them during this big parenthood transition and be mindful of the learning curve that will accompany it! Ideal for a confident career candidate who enjoys a good mix of collaboration and autonomy. Infant/toddler experience a must. Family has one senior dog; no care required.

REQUIREMENTS: Dog-friendly! (No care required.) Must be up to date on vaccinations: Covid, Tdap, Flu. Driver’s license and safe driving record. If driving to work, a parking spot can be provided. Mandarin-speaking would be a huge bonus, but not a set requirement!
START: Beginning of July, with some flexibility to prioritize the right fit.
SCHEDULE: 4 days per week, ideally Monday to Thursday, from 8:00am to 5:00pm. FRIDAYS OFF. Guaranteed 36 hours per week.
DUTIES: Maintaining tidy common areas and play areas throughout the day, supporting with washing / sterilizing bottles, baby’s laundry, food prep for baby and assisting with introducing solids down the line, keeping nursery and diaper bag stocked with essentials.
PAY: $30-34/hour (gross, before taxes). Guaranteed weekly rate of $1,080-1,224/week for 36 hours.
