Thoughtful, easygoing family in STREETERVILLE is seeking a Nanny/HM to join their family in EARLY JULY!

Family has two little ones who will be about 4yo and 16mo at start. We are looking for a collaborative and highly communicative candidate who feels confident balancing compassionate nanny care with proactive household support during the hours when the kids are in school / daycare. These little ones are active and filled with energy, so they would value a partner for their family who thrives in a dynamic home environment with a strong emphasis on play, exploration, and engaging experiences.

Both parents have pretty demanding jobs, so they would benefit from the support of a team player who can lighten the mental load and also think several steps ahead when it comes to the day-to-day upkeep and flow of their household, with household management hours set aside for tasks like grocery shopping, household inventory, meal prep, etc. Looking to build a partnership on solid communication and mutual trust - keeping lines of communication open, feeling aligned on problem solving, and ensuring everyone feels like they are on the same page.

REQUIREMENTS:  Up to date on Covid, Tdap, flu, and MMR vaccines. No car required; everything is walkable.

START:  Beginning of July 2026.

SCHEDULE:  Guaranteed 25-30 hours per week. (pending candidate preference/availability). Core childcare hours are needed from 3:30pm to 6:30pm Monday to Friday, with additional hours designated for household management. Sample schedule could be Mon-Fri from 1:00/1:30pm to 6:30pm, plus one later evening each week to allow for a standing date night.

DUTIES:  Maintaining tidy common areas (family will also have support of a house cleaner), children’s laundry and some general household laundry, snack/meal prep. During hours when the kids are at school: grocery shopping, keeping track of household inventory, some food/dinner prep, getting kids' lunches ready for the next day, general tidying of spaces like the kitchen.

PAY:  $34-40/hour (gross, before taxes). Guaranteed weekly rate of $850-1,200/week for 25-30 hours.
